Recall I said "I don't try to glue them on rigidly". For replacing
handrails I used no glue. However, I had forgotten having broken my GP35
main side rail once maybe a year ago. I glued it with some gap filling
super glue and it's still good. Took a couple tries to get it stuck
permanently.
