Wally,
I'd like to know how you're progressing with the design for the between the
tracks uncoupler. I had to use kitchen magnets as described in an S Gaugian
article to achieve standard uncoupling with delayed action. I would prefer
using a standard Kadee uncoupler designed for the S 802.

  Ed,
I have been working on this for four years with Sam Clarke of Kadee. I
don't know about unmodified HO Kadees but standard S 802s the answer is yes
if you want just standard uncoupling, but they don't pull far enough to work
the delayed feature. Frank Titman has them all over his layout. I am
working on a design of a between the rails that will function as delayed but
it is a lot more work. Details if you are interested. Wally

Subject: {S-Scale List} Kadee between-the-rails magnets

Would anyone happen to know if the Kadee HO between-the-rails magnet
will uncouple an unmodified HO coupler mounted at the standard S scale
height? Will the same magnet uncouple a standard S scale Kadee coupler?
Thanks...Ed L.
