Hi Dave,
 
The Shinohara #6 diverging routes are not circular sections. The term
radius does not apply to them. I can tell you that I used them for
several years on an S-Scale layout and they operated flawlessly. I could
run trains through them forwards and backwards. Most cars were
freight-length and mostly of 40 foot length. The couplers were
body-mounted Kadee #802.

Hi Dick, So approximately what radius is it? 
Is it wider than a #5 ?? Can trains get thru them ok??? ....dave
