This list is for S Scale model trainsJust a quick note from up here in
Minnesota. It is the July 4th weekend, statistically about the only weekend we
cannot expect snow. The PPSSW has been busy, a week ago, we met at Jim
Malone's. Jim is migrating from O scale to S and we were helping him figure
out how to fill his space. It is a nice space with beautiful viewing
locations. I expect a great layout will take shape. The other neat thing is
Jim is a talented folk and blues artist. Many of us picked up his CD while we
were over there. It is really great, I recommend it. If there is any flaw
with it, the flaw would be that he left off some of the great railroad songs he
does very well. I am thinking of "The City of New Orleans" and "Fast Freight
Man". The CD does have some nice railroad songs on it, there is a great one
about Sady, who is a railroad lady, just a little bit shady.....
Anyway, that is another story. Here on the Minnesota Heartland, working some
little scenic areas in between mowing the lawn and enjoying out week and one
half of summer.
