I hate to sound like a broken record but again I recommend you get a catalog
from Black Bear Construction Co. Box 26991, Austin, TX 78755-0911 for $3
with a $2 coupon. They not only have plans but great jigs for all types of
trestles and truss bridges in S scale, plus material packs of high quality
lumber for building them. (I don't have any deal with them but have
beautiful bridges and trestles on my layout that I built using their stuff.

I have seen many bridge plans of all types in the popular railroading
magazines. There is also a book on bridges and trestles.

Somebody commented that "trestle bridge" is not correct terminology.
This reminds me of the railroad through my home town. There was a long
fill in the river valley on both sides leading to the actual bridge.
People always talked about crossing the railroad trestle (using the
railroad bridge was a common shortcut for the more "daring"
pedestrians). I chuckle, it had never dawned on me that it was not a
trestle! I'm guessing the terminology was leftover from when there WAS
a trestle, which had been converted to a fill.
