Well, I know some people who wouldn't think it was a privilege, Bud,
but thanks for the compliment.

I was going to send a personal note to Bud, but since it's out in
the open I'd like to publicly thank Bud and his wife for graciously
opening up their home and putting me up last night, and also for the
ride in the first place, the good Hamburg pizza, and for
uncomlainingly getting up at 3:45 this morning to take me to the
station.
I think it's this sort of extra-mile accommodation that makes the
NASG's deserved reputation for being the friendliest organization
anywhere.

In the interest of accuracy, the train was #280, the "Mohawk",
which is scheduled an hour or so ahead of the Lake Shore and runs
much closer to on time, being that it originates in Niagara Falls
early in the morning as opposed to Chicago the day before.
