I'm unaware of 10-foot ties. I am familiar with 8', 8'-6", and 9'
ties. But to answer your question -- Take twice your tie length and add
6 inches -- That's your longest switch tie. For 8' ties, that's
16'-6". For 9' ties, that's 18'-6".
