We installed a speaker roughly 1.25in x 1.5in from Mouser on the roof and
made "NO" alterations for sound. Used a soundtraxx alco with wabco horn and
the
thing sounds great.
I saw an article that had you drilling out the "spaces" of the vent grill
with small drill bits for sound.
Mine work nicely without the extra work.
I painted them in a 1950's DRG&W California Zephyr silver with aspen gold
nose.
Ask Sam about which speaker we're using.
