The shop is located in Root's Country Market, Manheim (Lancaster Co), PA.
Called, ready for this, JIM LYLE'S TOY TRAINS. Only open on Tuesdays (NOT my
idea). The heaviest concentration of new is "S", primarily S Helper. While
the purists may decry that fact, not many other manufacturer's provide two
sets of wheels, dead-on appearance, ease of coupler conversion etc. Will
order anything a customer might want, and do regularly. Increasing stock all
the
time, more toward HO, tho. Second shop will be open for the Christmas
Holidays in another location.
Shop is about 300 ft from an active, daily used freight branch, part of
Conrail, now Norfolk Southern (the HAWSE). Usually GP 38's in CR blue,
occasionally NS black.
