Interesting how the original thread about the Rix structures twisted
itself into a bit of tiff; or maybe it was a spat (weak Monty Python
reference for those into such things). A quick scan indicates at least
twenty folks felt compelled to comment on-list to one or another of
the related subject lines.
Meanwhile seven individuals mailed me expressing interest in up to six
of the storefront models each. One existing manufacturer and one
potential manufacturer also expressed support for the project. At
least half those interested in the storefronts did not comment on the
rest of the threads. Thank you to all those who replied to my request.
Certainly a number of conclusions can be drawn from the numbers in the
two paragraphs above. One might be that I lack sufficient credibility
to get people to respond, although I've been a regular contributer to
this list for quite some time so people should have some idea of who I
am (huh, maybe THAT's the problem). I think the rest of my conclusions
will remain unspoken.
