Hi Dave,

Yeah, the Tenax can leave a dull stain and edge (like a water stain) 
if any of it seeps through a joint onto the model. I try not to allow 
that but it happens. I just like the fact that it is a dull almost 
invisible stain rather than a shiny residue like most glues leave. The 
dull stain is easy to hide with weathering or can even look like a pre-
rust area. I haven't tried Zap-a-Gap so I can't comment but if it 
flows as easy as Tenax and doesn't leave a stain I have to get some.
