Dear Don and Group,
As a READING fan I'm interested in joining in on this group.
However, it seems to be very complicated to do so.
I'm presently waiting to see if my joining work is going to be OK!
Anyway, just wanted everyone to know that my main work bench is built from one
of those old Reading / CNJ wooden box cars. Seems when I lived at home, [late
forties] our neighbor who worked for the Reading at Rutherford Yards, told us
that his job was breaking up all the wooden box cars and if we needed any
lumber it was available. Otherwise they were burning it up.
My Dad, quite a handy guy, said sure and promptly built a terrific work bench
out of that old lumber.
After my parents passed on, I moved the work bench to my home here in Hershey.
If you ever visit us, just look beneath the work bench and you will see the
very variety of wood beams supporting it.
Really weird isn't it?
or even better, perhaps, poetic!

Well, it is at least 10 minutes later, and I'm still not sure that I have been
accepted into this CNJ group.
