Hi all:
The Cimarron Car Works guys, well known for S and O scale narrow gauge cars in
resin, are wondering if there would be any interest in some standard guage
cars. The company has just done an HO flatcar for the B&O or C&O historical
soceity and could do that in S. I believe it is a late 1940s steel car with
wood deck. I saw the pilot model and it looked quite good. I told them about
the cars that BTS, Smokey Mountain etc were doing and they appreciate the need
not to reinvent the wheel. Anway if anyone has ideas for cars or would like to
learn more contact Bill Mereditch at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I shold have their web
site but it is probably easy to find thru google.
I have no financial interest in this but am an admirer of Bill's work on the
patterns and get to see it regularly at our local NMRA meetings. And I got a
few rejected sides of a wooden box car kit to turn into a shed. But it was me
or the garbage and you all know the reduce, reuse, recycle motto. Also they had
a dynamite station kit in S scale for those narrow minded guys but the station
could be used anywhere.
cheers.
