Gents....
I have an assortment of electrical stuff available to trade for some kit
building services.
First up is 70 (count 'em) SPST (on/off) push buttons suitable for panel
mounting. These have a 1/4" diameter red button on top and mount via a
1/4" hole in a control panel up to about 1/4" thick. Good for turnout
motors or anything else needing a momentary contact such as smoke units,
animation effects, uncouplers, etc. Contacts are closed when button is
pushed in and contacts open when when finger is removed from button.
Most are new, some are used, but all work fine.
Next up is a variety of transformers. Let me know your voltage and
current needs and I might well have what you seek.
Then there are "termination strips" (not sure if this is the correct
name) which have several solder lugs attached to an insulating strip
with small
L-shaped legs. The legs can be screwed to wood and the solder lugs
stand out and wires can be soldered to the lugs. Have a small bag of
these -- maybe 50 -- of different sizes. Ask for details if interested.
Also have an ammeter and a voltmeter for DC. Might actually have two of
each. About 2" square suitable for panel mounting. Used, but work fine
and look just fine.
If yer gonna build a layout, sooner or later these things will come in
handy. Good way to acquire some stuff in exchange for kit-building
labor. No cash required. Ask questions and let's make a deal!
Cheers...Ed L.
