Assuming I'm the esteemed moderator that Ed refers to (there are several people that help moderate), I'm posting this note ONLY so that y'all know that I'm not ignoring the concern. I'll have some off-list discussion with Ed to make sure that I understand his concern.
For now, here's a general clarification: - Many lists specifically request that members refrain from "me too" messages. No need to post information that has already been posted. Obviously this will sometimes occur simply because a second poster sent his reply before seeing the first reply. If additional information about the question is posted, no problem. - It certainly is correct to NOT post personal replies; posted replies should have information that is of general value to other list members and is within the scope of the list purpose. If you think I'm missing something on this topic or you disagree, please reply off list. If there is more to report later, I will do so.
