John, I believe Thrall no longer exists as an independent company. My recollection is that they were taken over about 5 or so years ago. The acquiring company may have been Trinity, but I'm not sure; it could have been American Railcar Industries (formerly ACF), but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Gunderson/Greenbrier or Freight Car America (formerly Johnstown America).
Try contacting these companies and see who has the drawings, starting with Trinity. They don't have to be highly technical drawings, just need to show the necessary dimensions needed for scratchbuilding... widths, lengths, truck (bolster) centers and axel centers, wheel sizes, etc, etc, etc. I was hoping that I could get such information from the manufacturer's sites. > > > John Degnan > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Tom Hawley > To: [email protected] > Sent: Saturday, December 02, 2006 2:56 PM > Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} Thrall Car Manufacturing WEB SITE?
