Dear Andre,
We were told this past summer that we could make the NW2s and we
picked out additional roadnames. Then they doubled how many we needed
to make. I was not surprised as this was the old minimum. We asked if
we could split the order with SW8s and they agreed, but now I have to
pick our SW8 roadnames. Also, since the summer, we have had an
explosion of DCC interest generated by the Tsunami 2-8-0. Currently,
putting DCC sound into the SW9s and Chessie NW2s is a little labor
intensive, with a handmade interface boards. Bill Clark worked with our
engineers to have them make one that just drops in. I am waiting for
the sample, once I get this, we will be ready to issue the purchase order.
The new NW2 roadnames are:

01255 Chessie System #1
01256 Chessie System #2
01259 Pennsylvania B. green
01260 Penssylvania, tuscan
01261 Unlettered
01736 CB&Q (FW&D) Chinese Red
