Before Tsunami, the motor control in the SoundTraxx decoders was not
up to par. I put a Lenz or NCE "silent" decoder in the locomotive, and
a SoundTraxx and speaker in the tender. I use Miniatronics two wire
connectors, one wire to take the locomotive pickup to the tender, one
to take the tender pickup to the locomotive.
