We have found a source for S scale (M3) Stuart light tanks and are offering these on our GSC flatcars. Production started in 1941 before the USA entered the war and thousands were built. They saw action in both the European and Pacific theatre. They were not very big weighing under 15 tons and had a crew of 4. We are placing two on a flat car and offering these on the SL-SF and SP flatcars. A small number of these are ready now and we expect more in three weeks.
Bill posted an image of our website of the Stuart tank flatcar train going up the grade on the 5’X9’ display layout. www.showcaselline.com These can be ordered now at: http://showcaseline.com/Flatcars/Loads/fcwithloads_in_stock.html A scale drawing of the Sturart light tank can be found at: http://www.onwar.com/tanks/usa/profiles/pltm3.htm Yahoo!
