Hi folks,
I thought I'd give you all an update on the 19000 Series Caboose
project. I have e-mailed this same statement out to the reservation
holders of the project, so if you did not get this via e-mail,
please contact me so I can update your e-mail. I had a whack of
bounce back's either from spam filters or people had moved (do you
blame them seeing as how we've taken our sweet time finishing this
project.....sheesh.....!)
Anyway -
1) I received the 19000 series caboose masters this week and have
approved them. They are heading off to the caster for production
setup.
2) CAD files for window glazing and detail parts have been sent to
their respective manufacturers.
3) Expect to get test etchings and window glazing in about 3-4 weeks
Test castings of the actual caboose should be in within 2 weeks.
4) Final billings will go out likely at the end of this month and
kits will be shipped in the order that final payment is received. I
can accept payments via PayPal if you wish to use your credit card
and I can also send your invoice via e-mail as a .PDF document if
you would prefer that over snail mail. Just let me know your
preferences and I'll make a notation on your file.
