Bill,  Back when I photographed the Spiral Hill for Model Railroader I 
was totally surprised on how active he was.  He could crawl down under 
the layout better than I could at the time.  I was amazed that he 
remembered where all his cars were stored so when we moved them for a 
shot he could put them back for his next operating session.  I can say 
the same for Jess Bennett.  I guess maybe it's just clean living, so I 
guess I'll never find out! ha.
