Hello Ted,
I've used with great success the water-based caulk adhesive for extruded
foam, using a caulk gun to apply it out of a cartridge: first to glue down
the cork roadbed and then to glue the AM track to the cork. Only a little
bit is truly needed. I've used push pins to hold it in place while drying -
one every 8-10 ties or so - and that's all. Has worked great and provided
perhaps a more flexible bond than the glue.
