>For Lance's question-which of the long-gone trucks had the brass

All of my ACE trucks came with journal bushings that were brass or
Delrin. Today I think the brass inserts may be found locally in arts
& crafts stores or leather goods stores.

I did a Google search and found Ohio Travel Bag
<http://www.ohiotravelbag.com/> and this PDF file:

<http://www.ohiotravelbag.com/pdf/p2004-a.pdf>

The bottom of page 8 of p2004-a.pdf has "Eyelets and Grommets" that
may work as axle bushings.

For historical purposes, my 1998-1999 Downs/ACE/Rusti catalog shows:

>Delrin Journal Bushings For ACE Trucks
>[Part] #4051
>Designed to be used with all ACE trucks. These new bushings replace
>the older brass eyelet and significantly improve truck rollability.
>Conversion instructions are included. A 3.00 mm drill is required.
>Pkg. of 16
>$1.00
>
>ACE Truck Spacers
>[Part] #4052
>These spacers are designed to be used with Code 110 and Code 125
>wheelsets. Will reduce the side-to-side movement of the wheelsets
>when placed on the DELRIN bushings before insertion.
>Pkg. of 16
>$1.00

Brass eyelets were available as parts in sizes from 3/32 x 4/32 to
5/32 x 7/32, 12 for $1.00.
