Yeah, yeah, hard to believe, I know.

As I await my SHS SW-9 parts order, I had the urge to see SOMETHING making
progress toward the layout. (Something besides work on another PRS car, that
is.)

SOooooo....

I finished up a few buildings using photoshop that are earmarked to be used
as photoflats. I then proceeded to print out the parts panels. Once
finished with that, I had the ooompah to go ahead and cut them from the
paper and packaged them into packs. I then had 10 buildings ready to
"assemble" (i.e. glue the panels onto matboard).

Well....

I was sooooooo close to seeing something assembled that I decided to pull
out a couple matboard sheets and glue up a few. That I did. I now have 8,
count'em, EIGHT... assembled photoflats leaning on the layout background to
be used once final placements are decided at a later time. (Two remain, but
I was running out of gluesticks.)

In the end, by using bits and pieces of an afternoon and evening off, I now
have over 12'... that's TWELVE FEET... of photoflats for my layout! Talk
about changing the way things look on the layout to lean them against the
sky backdrop!!

After I get some more glue sticks, I will glue up the remaining two and have
about 13-14 feet of photoflat buildings!

I'm so proud of myself. :-)
