John,

I picked one up today ('57 Panel Truck) after reading your post and it 
scales out pretty darn close. I don't know the actual prototype length 
or width for this truck but when I put my 1/64" incremented calipers on 
it it comes out to just under 18 scale feet long and just under 7 scale 
feet wide. Tires are about a scale 28" in diameter and about a scale 8" 
wide. This seems right to me.
