ALL interested parties should contact me A.S.A.P. to confirm your interest in this project. I am considering starting another Yahoo group specifically dedicated to this project, and would like to know exactly how many folks want in on this project so I can determine if a Group would be worthwhile.
A Thousand Thanks. I'm getting ready to start building some S scale (of course, what else!?) modules, and I'd like to invite you S listers to join in the fun. I'm hoping that there are enough folks out there who can and will get in the game so that we can end up with enough modules to form a "operational" display worthy of setting up at some train shows here in the southeast. My static display at the recent RPM Meeting drew a fair amount of visitors and questions, but I feel an operational display would draw a larger crowd. I was actually asked by one person how S scale models ran, so that show that there is some curiosity. The ONLY standard that I must insist on for these modules will be that the modules be "SCALE" modules, not hi-rail/flyer compatible (of course). I can even build some transition rail (one code to another) connector pieces if everyone wants to use a different code rail So if anyone else out there has already built some modules, or if anyone is planning to build some modules, I'd like to know so I can either built to match yours or so we can plan our modules together. We can go with the traditional or the Free-Mo style of modules... or both... it really doesn't matter to me as long as they are compatible in track alignment and connectivity. So... lets start running some trains!!! Any interested parties out there?
