Bill: Minimum radius on the mainline is 45" and I have followed NMRA's suggested side clearances for a UP Big Boy, so I would hope that an EM-1 would negotiate the mainline with no trouble.
I would love to see doubleheaded EM-1's run on the layout. I mentioned to Don that I am thinking about having my layout open sometime during the convention for those desiring a longer visit than the Friday night bus tours will allow. I am also trying to coordinate with Sam to see if he would like to have an open house at the same time. More on this as the convention approaches.
