Wawa tower was located at the junction of the electrified  
Philadelphia-Media-West Chester Branch and the Chester Creek 
Secondary in Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania.  (PRR 
fans will kindly correct my nomenclature if it is incorrect.)  I 
believe there was a water tank there in steam days.

A dairy was established there in the early 1900's.  Today it is 
primarily a chain of convenience stores:

Wawa?
When people hear "Wawa" for the first time, many don't know what to 
think. They are not really sure if it's a play on words or an

The Franklin Mint is located across the street from the Wawa Dairy.  
Apparently they didn't think the town name was sophisticated enough, 
so they say they're in Franklin Center, PA.

Trivia:  If you ever watched "ThirtySomething" on television--the 
cast frequently was shown emptying Wawa shopping bags.
