Folks....Now that the Whiteoak Turnouts are sort of back on the 
market thanks to Kelvin, I'd like to add my two cents worth.  I use 
these turnouts extensively and like them very much.  They work just 
fine on the mighty NYC and I am pleased as punch.  However, I must 
confess to never having modified them for use with DCC. I saw no 
reason for modifying them and have not changed a thing.  DCC works 
fine with them as well as Soundtraxx sound systems with blowing 
whistles and chuff-chuff and all the rest.  Based on my experiences, 
I would have to take exception to Dick's comment that "some 
alterations in gapping are required for DCC".  Some folks might have 
a personal preference for certain gapping methods, but that does not 
mean it becomes a requirement.  It is just an alternative way of 
doing things.  If a turnout works properly with DC, it will work 
properly with DCC.  No doubt about it.  Cheers...Ed L.
