Hi Ed --
Thanks for the info on Mort Mann. We did a fair amount of business
together in both HO and S. You can also thank him for letting me use his
GP sideframes as the basis for the masters of my pot metal versions for use
on the AM units (F's and GP's). I don't know exactly how many I sold, but
it was in the 100's of sets and he declined any royalty payments which
allowed me to price them at a very low level.
FYI, he also produced a nice model of the DRGW K-28 in Sn3. While not
quite as accurate as the PBL version, I think it captured the essence of the
engine better than PBL...
Sorry to get the news -- he was a good guy.
