Early Saturday morning and an opportunity to catch up on the weeks e-
mail. It is good that I was not reading the list in a timely fashion
or I might have been offended by all of the comments about being
unreasonable and as Ed put it NUTZ. I am sure the guys in the PPSSW
read these and yet, they never mentioned to me during the meeting on
Thursday evening. Well, I have had my meds adjusted and I assure you
that your comments will not unleash any flamable comments from me. I
might mention that I have been taking apart and rebuilding Sedum
plants to make more trees for the Minnesota Heartland, it is nice
activity, relaxing and the trees are more useful than the baskets I
had been weaving. The Sunshine Autorack was mentioned, Steve Monson
who was Sunshine is still a PPSSW member. He moved into garden
railroading and is co-author of a great book on a local NP branch
line.
Thank you for the link the the N Scale Architect, this is a nice
resource. Hey Bill, I enjoyed the you tube link, first for the music
and second, the guys in the back show the activity level of most of
us at a PPSSW meeting, I could see myself on one of the chairs
snipping off little sedum branches and gluing them back on in
different shapes.
I enjoyed the photo on the Yahoo site. I always enjoy seeing Danny's
work and I always enjoy seeing Billy and Danny every couple of
years. I have a favorite photo from the Pittsburg Convention years
ago where I was running the modular layout with Danny. He sure has
grown up and older. I am glad I didn't age like that.
So it is Victoria Day weekend is it? How outstanding, the Canadian
Pacific isn't taking a holiday judging from the traffic going by the
house but I see it as a good reason to have a celebration. Alex,
would a six pack of Molson be a good start? Is there a favorite item
I should be grilling today. Taking a cue from most of the Canadians
I know, this will be a mellow, reserved celebration but then again
there is Dan Kirlin.....
Have a wonderful weekend
