If funds were available, I would get at least 10. My railroad hauls grain
toward Prince Rupert and the terminial there. The paint scheme may seem gaudgy
to others but it is about time railroads started doing something to let the
general public trucks are NOT the only form of bulk transportation. Would it
really hurt to advertise to everyone wo pass a track or cross one that
railroads are a better form of transport?
Would irt really cost that much to a graphic artist on staff to take drawings
of railroad owned equipment and come up with a design that promotes the
railroad? Have corp check it out before painting the full size unit and then
doing it as engines and other equipment come in for service or major
maintenance. Add more track as quickly as possible. Stuff what Wall Street
might say. If Burlington Northern had ignored Wall Street when Krebs was still
in charge, they might be further along with ther Transcom expansion.
