While Harold is converting to Sn42 (easier for me to type for some reason) I
know his On30 equipment isn't usable but how does the Sn42 equipment compare
size wise? I mean an O scale narrow gauge box car would be as big or bigger
than an S scale narrow gauge box car wouldn't it. I have an old metal kit
for an HO old time 2-8-0, don't remember the maker off hand, which seems to
me would be a good starting point for an Sn42 engine. The steam chest
seemed a bit too big in my opinion and a new S scale cab would be fairly
close for a turn of the century steamer. Some new ideas should be coming to
the list from Harold's foray into Sn42, and I look forward to seeing it. A
nice change from universal frogs IMHO.
