Chums....Looks like this caboose is on the verge of reality. We can all
thank John Foley, retired NASG Promotions Chairman, for spearheading
this project a few years ago. And Gale Hall for clinching the deal with
a large purchase. Now for the tough question: What color is it
painted? After speaking with a few buddies and checking the books, it
seems the possibilities include boxcar red, boxcar brown, red oxide and
oxide red. Which, if any, is correct? Also, would anyone know what is
the correct color for the roof and roofwalks? Are they black or do they
match the body color? People need to buy paint in preparation for the
mailman's delivery of a small box from Canada. "S"ure feels good to get
another NYC-specific kit. Thanks for your help...Ed L.
