I am getting ready to paint the roofs of some passenger cars that will have Chester or JC Models sides attached to them. I have a couple cars that I have purchased already assembled. Both have black roofs and they look nice. Black roofs will be appropriate for representing Southern Railway stainless steel cars. But I am also interested in having some stainless steel roofs. Has anyone on this list painted the roofs to properly match the aluminum car sides? What paint or paints did you use? I am thinking about ordering Alclad 2 paint.
