FWIW, I suggested this last time and will do so again: I think there
is a lot to be gained by dualing S scale events with O scale events. I
think they have been doing this on the West Coast.. and would be able
to say whether it works or not better than I can... but having
attended the O scale convention, S scalers - scalers not high railers
or flyer folks but scalers - scalers have more in common with O scale
folks than perhaps any others. On3 and S are about the same
dimensions. The layouts, models, production, etc. face very similar
issues and economics I think. The market size is smaller in S scale,
but it is growing.

All of this is simply to suggest that there is something to be said
for folding 1:64 within a quality publication like
http://www.oscalemag.com/. These folks have a lot of articles that are
of general interest regardless of scale. And I think it would not be
such a stretch to make an S scale section within the publication. They
probably have no intention of diluting their focus so it may not even
be an issue, but it would seem to be worth a couple of inquiries.

Anyway.... that's my two cents worth.
