Hi,
Just sending you a special "Thank You" for your convention work.
It was well done, and in spite of the hotel's problems, all of you remained
cool and worked your way through it.
Those who could attend, but missed out on the convention, you missed a really
good time. The large vendor room was full of "S"tuff!
I can't think of anything that I didn't enjoy. It was very nice socializing
with my friends across the nation, everyone was so pleasant.
I also got a kick out of Bill Lane receiving his award at the banquet when he
blurted out "Gosh! this proves you all do like me!"
Hey, you gotta like Bill and Donna! Yes, and Jamie Bothwell was as "Nutty" as
usual, Jamie got the max out of the "S"tuff he had to auction off and we all
had a good laugh in him doing his thing, especially the free Bohemian B--R!!
I'm still marveling at the enthusiasm you all expelled! That certainly was a
plus, and should teach us who are losing ours, that S Gauge model railroading
is supposed to be FUN!
Dave Blum's dry sense of humor threw me off, I actually at times thought he was
serious! Tsk! Tsk!
