OK, I will put my money where my mouth is. If someone will agree to build a scale, open auto carrier, in one of the 12 road names that I collect, I will happily put down a deposit for six of them, and will want more later.
The "someone" is preferably a person/company with the expertise to complete the project, unlike promised equipment we have seen over the years that did not come to fruition. Any takers? Right again if John Degnan can find enough customers to interest someone to build the car. Sounds like he might even tackle the car himself for a small number of auto-rack enthusiasts. Degnan Enterprises now announces..... I can see it within a couple of months if the customers support the concept. Whether the car is common or unique, having the customers is what will enable it to be produced. Saying "I want" is neither adequate nor sufficient. Leastwise, that is how I view the situation.
