Hi Harold!

Thank you very much for the input. I respect your modeling skills and
insights to model railroading.

I understand your concerns about On30, but for me it would have filled the
bill okay. I merely wanted to capture the "feel" of Colo TOCng and am not
too particular about the models being "accurate". However, having said
that, the upcoming Bachmann 4-4-0 looks too "cutesy" for my tastes.

I tried Colo TOCng via Sn3 some years ago, but the work intensive nature of
it burned me out. Couldn't sustain the energy level it was requiring to
build the Railmaster kits and scratchbash the rolling stock. Lastly, Sn3
roughly equates to about medium sized steam in HO, and the Sn3rolling stock
is pretty much the same size as HO. So, visually and dexterity wise, I was
still in HO.

For me, S scale in only an interest in regards to standard gauge modeling.

You definitely made an intriguing suggestion about the SHS 2-8-0... that
could be VERY tempting. I have thought of that before but stumbled at the
price tag required for such an "experiment".

Well, all for now.
