Dear Art,
Sorry I did not answer sooner, but I saw a painted sample of this
gem and it is a beauty. Ron S and Matt G had a booth for S Scale
America at the NMRA National Train Show in Detroit last week with
several dozen painted samples. Several different paint schemes of 40'
steel PFE reefers, three new tank car schemes, 4 new Gunderson container
car schemes, 5 ACF 3 bay airslide covered hoppers, I think 4 or 5 more
Evans 50' boxcars, and many roadnames for both assembled and decorated
48' and 53' containers. Shipments are due in September and every month
after than another type of car will be released. I have posted images
taken by John Prior at the show for the NASG.
Oh yeah, the Timken car, Ron let us display the sample at the NASG
Mfg. booth at the Show.
