I had the priveledge of visiting Mikes layout back in 2000/2001 when I
first switched over to "S". Mike was a member of an informal group that
would meet every other Friday to operate or BS at some members house.
It looks like Mikes put in a lot of work on his layout since then. He
had all the basics in place but there are a lot more buildings and
completed scenes. Mike is truly one of the nicest "S scalers I've ever
met and willing to share everything he's learned over the years. I'll
need to get back up to KC and visit again.
Thanks for posting the photos Tom. These are the best I've seen of
Mikes layout.
