Well thank you for saying so. I have feeling, though, that this list would
get along just fine without me. <g>

It's a pit, ain't it?

You should have seen the KC I saw as a kid! Here's a list of the railroads
I was exposed to:

Kansas City Terminal
Frisco
Katy
Rock Island
Santa Fe
Union Pacific
Kansas City Southern
Missouri Pacific
Milwaukee Road
Chicago Great Western (CNW after '68)
Wabash (N&W after '64)
Gulf Mobile & Ohio
Chicago Burlington & Quincy

I saw Alco, EMD, Baldwin and FM switchers, FA's, EMD F's, GP7/9/18's, RS1's
and RS3's, E units, PA's... goodness... what a wonderful mix of 1st gen
stuff! All sorts of paint schemes including Warbonnets, freight schemes
galore... passenger trains...I even saw the the arrival of the ATSF GP20's,
GP35's, as well as the appearance of Frisco orange & white U25B's, GP35's...
so much stuff!

That was the West Bottoms district, the area I am trying to model!

It has a lot of promise, not only for this small room, but for a larger room
IF I can tote the goods.

Let me guess... by riding the French Broad?? <g>

Ah, I had forgotten about that.

Guilty as charged. No telling what sort of tangent I was off chasing.
(sigh)

LOL!

I find it fascinating how often I hear that coming from the listees here.
