Wait, is Sn3 not S scale? There will be at least three S layouts as the
Slim Gauge Guild Model Railroad Club is S/Sn3.

Subject: {S-Scale List} NMRA Annual Convention in 2008

Ed,Bill,Roy and Interested List Members:

There are two S scale layouts listed for the 2008 NMRA convention. Peter
Gagnon is listed for the San Diego area and my layout is in San Dimas. In
December 2005 the Southern California S Gaugers club was formed. When we
learned the convention was in Anaheim in 2008 we determined we wanted a
module layout for the train show to promote S gauge. The club is slowly
working toward that goal. Of the 25 members there are only three scale
members. Most are collectors and most of the others do not have layouts. The
Inland Terminal Model Railroad Club is still operating and is scale. Two of
the three members are members of the So.Ca. club. They have been approached
by the NMRA but have not committed displaying the layout yet. One of the
members of this list is a member of the Inland Terminal and can elaborate if
he wishes. My layout is a major project. When I told the NMRA that my
layout did not meet requirements they came out anyway and said I had good
access so my layout was on
the tour list. But I needed to have it operating and more scenery. So I
have established a time line and have been working like crazy to get an
acceptable layout. My dilemma is to have a layout to promote S gauge and yet
have the layout give S a good presentation. And trying to keep this fun.
Anyway Southern California is trying to keep S in model railroading.
