I'm using a Bowser HO 14" turntable. It's pretty crude, but
effective. A large open frame motor drives a gearbox equipped with a
pully covered with O-rings turning against a plywood disk. It is noisy
and you have to anticipate your stops. Haven't built a bridge for it
yet, so there's just some flex track on a piece of 1-1/4" x 1/2" lumber.
