When American Models first started, I purchased two Pennsylvania FP 7's. (May
1984)
This past year I converted the two diesels over to Reading DP-1's ( # 900 &
901) and have had a tough time converting the Kadee 802 couplers to body
mounts. Seems the under carriage was made for American Model plastic couplers.
There is very little space on the FP 7's for mounting Kadee 802's.
This has been a no-fun project for me, but I have "Mickey Moused" the 802's in
for now.
I find the list topic on mounting Kadees on American Model Diesel's very
interesting, please keep it flowing.
