Hey Bill,
This bulk ballast looks alright. Are the granules somewhat rounded
edged? Non-magnetic? How about weight, they obviously don't float away
like Woodland Scenic's ground walnut shell ballast?
Color is the only slight drawback I can see......almost too uniform, but
for anyone wanting to take the time, a wash of thinned black or India
ink spread over the surface would add some variation to it. Thanks for
sharing this find with us!
