Hello friends, Well, I finally accepted the fact that I can not get S out of my blood, so I am starting to build another module! ha ha
You can see version 1 at: http://users.bergen.org/dondew/GLA/SouthGrandArborModule.html I used Railmodelr 3.0 to draw the module, but no one has included any turnouts for S in the program, so once I figure out how to do that.... I will update the drawing. I also have discovered that the module kits that Skip McDonald used to sell, (MLS?) seem to be unavailable. I examined the Mianne benchwork kits and the Sievers kits for possible module kits. The Mianne system does not have removable legs and the legs are integral to the kits so that leaves the Sievers kits. I am not too sure about the legs for the Sievers kits. I wrote to them about whether or not their legs can stand up to repeated attachment and disassembly cycles. Does anyone else know of kits that can be used for modules? I see that I have several hundred postings to read about S scale, so I will be trying to catch up. {No... I am not abandoning O scale. Just building in both scales.) Are there any opinions on whether I should use Old Pullman or BK or other manufacturer's turnouts? I hope all is well in your world. "S"incerely Don DeWitt Yahoo!
