That would be a much better use of all these electrons. -----------------------------
Well, it's not a GP7 conversion, nor am I that august "old familiar voice" nor are my standards that high. But, I've uploaded some pictures of a reworked AM GP9 I did some years ago in the Photo Album at: http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/S-Scale/photos/browse/1e44 -Or- you'll find it under the Photo Album filename Rusty's Tracks. An IC geep is basically "vanilla in black," so there's nothing to really make one stand out. The usual suspects were used on the model: BTS diesel parts, old S Scale America handrails, even older Northeastern grab irons, DPH decals, DPH/SSA grills, some fiber optic light pipe and the odd scratch built part or two. There were one or two more things I wanted to add, but I also wanted to finished the project in my lifetime and declared this the "good enough" stage. Perhaps, the only thing to recommend it is the then under construction model was ressurected after suffering damage resulting from a failed test flight off the end of my railroad. Rich G.
