Hi Norman...

Neither. Just stating a fact. Good or bad depends on one's
perspective. Since my goal is to get 'em all built and running, I
view it as a good thing.

About three or four years ago I embarked on a plan to get lots and
lots of unbuilt kits put together. My personal time was being spent
on layout construction and so I solicitied some help from others.
The entire effort was successful beyond my wildest dreams. About 25
folks from all over the world have helped with kit construction of
various kinds -- from PRS cars, to laser structures, to
painting/decaling, scratchbuilding bridges, weathering, etc.

As a result, I might actually get the layout finished and operating
before I rise up to the great roundhouse in the sky thanks to all the
help. Much of the help has come from non-S folks such as those pesky
little HO guys. Interestingly, the N guys seem to be of the buy-it-
and-run-it mentality and do not seem to enjoy actual modeling or
construction. I wonder if the size has something to do with that?

Folks from Canada, England, New Jersey (a foreign place to be sure),
California (also a strange place), Minnesota, Pennsylvania,
Washington (State of), etc. have all made very nice contributions to
my layout project here. And I appreciate it very much.

I mention this only as a suggestion for others to consider that find
the time to actually build and complete a fully operating layout to
be far beyond their original estimate. This approach sure beats
tearing down a partially finished layout to build one of smaller
size. Major depression doing that.

Wanna build a kit? Only a few left. Act quickly!

Cheers...Ed L.
