eBay Item #120168537460 is a plastic baggie of four pair of Bettendorf truck
kits. These are PermaBilt trucks.
Beware! Two problems with these:
1. Wheelsets conform to the pre-NASG standards, and thus will not perform
properly on S scale trackage built after 1980 unless you regauge them.
2. More importantly, the zamac alloy in these castings has long since begun to
crumble. Any of you who have (or have had) these trucks know what I mean. All
you have to do is apply a tiny bit of flexure (like fiddling with a sideframe
absent-mindedly with your fingers) and it will break.
The successful bidder will have nothing useful except a small pile of springs.
